Another possible tour-stop: Amsterdam!

Among the list of possible venues, we can consider Amsterdam added to the list of possible venues!

So one of the 14 expected shows this year could happen in Amsterdam. That’s what’s the rumors say. And if I look back on similar rumors before the official tour announcements of earlier Stones tours, by this time, these rumors more rather than less turn out to be true.

What do we have so far?

First – the official tour announcement is expected Monday, March 7

Second – the tour will most probably take place during June and July 2022

Third – we can expect about 14 shows all across Europe.

Fourth – as this is the 60th anniversary of The Rolling Stones playing live on stage, and given the age Mick, Keith and Ronnie have reached, it’s just natural that they keep on playing once the Stones tour-engine has gathered momentum. I don’t think, they are looking forward to get over it, but rather would prefer to never stop rolling. But, alas, that’s not what’s gonna happen. But let’s just wait and see, how the tour proceeds. I won’t be surprised it they add more dates at the end of the official list of dates. You can be sure that this band will receive offers for gigs enough to keep them playing for us for the next 2 years every day and or more. But that’s not gonna happen. Nevertheless, they enjoy playing live too much to stop earlier than nescessary… we should not loose hope about more dates added to this tour – on top of the 14 dates that are going to be announced. I for one, won’t… 😉

Folks, I must say it again: as fans, we can… no, we must consider us  e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y  lucky to be fans of THIS band. 60 fucking years…
Jeezus, holy crap, I love this band!

Yup! They should come near almost every spot in Europe this time. I wish they could tour on forever!

If this tour turns out to be the greatest hits format I would hope for at least one more tour in 2023 or after to go along with a release of a new album.

With as long as the new album has taken I really would think they would want to play some of it live.

This tour, I bet, will be as much a greatest hits format as the former 5, hehehe … playing stadiums, they just have to. Much more on this tour: many people think that this is really their last tour ever. So with 50, 60 or more thousand people in the stadiun, they can’t just play the songs only the hard core fans know, right? So we are all in this together. They will play one or two more obscure songs per set, maybe the vote songs will offer some surprises. But on this multi national production scale, they will definitely play lots of their monster hits.

I for one would prefer them sto start with SFM, and JJF as last song before the encores. Every time, Keith hits that green Telecaster, with roaring volume, my spine just crumbles with pleasure, hehehe … oh, yes, and they should add fuckin’ Brown Sugar again on the setlist. This is good old Europe, for Chrissakes and not the bible belt… (just my humble opinion).
