The 12th stop of this tour had the band playing Browns Stadium in Cleveland with a six deacdes spanning setlist of hits!
Again we got 3 songs from Keith – and across the net it is discussed whether the reason for this might be some issue with Mick’s voice. But if you listen to Miss You from last night and hear Mick’s falsetto sounding so easy, it is doubtful that this is the reason for this remarcable change in the setlist compared to the last tours. True – before, it was a sign for some voice problem Mick has had, but by now, as this is becoming a regular on this tour, I would not be surised if this would be carried on to the setlists of next year’s Europe tour! What do you think?

Arrived over an hour before the Ghost Hounds were slated to start, missed their entire set. Getting in was a complete shitshow, waiting for wristbands, waiting to get to the floor, no guidance at all. This was an absolute atrocity. My parents bought the tickets for my 40th birthday, spending more than they ever had on any concert, and it was a really big deal. Seeing my dad almost in tears after the stressful entrance and thinking we would miss the show was terrible. When the Stones were here in 1999, I had used all of my babysitting money to buy him tickets for his birthday, sitting in the very last row in Gund Arena, able to literally touch the ceiling, so he was SO excited to buy these great seats for me.
This was a nightmare, and having attended other shows at Browns stadium, I’m not sure why it was so unorganized? We couldn’t have been more disappointed with how things were run.
At least the Stones were amazing. Mick’s voice sounded great, plenty of folks took a moment to sit during Keith’s songs, and Mick otherwise didn’t miss a beat. I wouldn’t mind other songs from the new album, but would rather they just alternate through the album instead of adding more onto the setlist at the expense of other tunes.
I was at the concert. I thought Keith’s set was a. chance for him to showcase his talents and an opportunity for Mick to change clothes and refresh (instead of a full intermission, which the show did not have).
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Mick’s voice.
Thanks, Donna for commenting on this! I really apprechiate first hand reports!
it`s a pity that the band didn`t add more new songs of „Hackney Diamonds” onto the setlist over the last days! So many GREAT songs on the album, that would go down a storm in every show! „Depending On You” and „Driving Me Too Hard” wcould become classics played live!
Yes, indeed. Or – imagine – Rolling Stone Blues … woah!
