It was known since quite some time, and now it’s officially announced:

According to Billboard’s list of Grammy Nominations for 2025, The Rolling Stones Album Hackney Diamonds is featured as one of the nominees for Best Rock Album. Here’s the list:

Best Rock Album

  • Happiness Bastards, The Black Crowes
  • Romance, Fontaines D.C.
  • Saviors, Green Day
  • TANGK, IDLES
  • Dark Matter, Pearl Jam
  • Hackney Diamonds, The Rolling Stones
  • No Name, Jack White

So this is one nomination for the Stones. In comparison: Beyoncé leads all 2025 Grammy nominees with 11 nods, with Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar & Post Malone securing seven nominations. Well, anyways, the competition to win the nomination for the best Rock album is tough, but there’s definitely a chance, don’t you think?
