Charlie’s collection of rare books and jazz memorabilia will auction at Christie’s in September this year.
Among lots of other things, they include first editions of Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, expected to fetch £250,000 or an annotated Printed Score for Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin. More on this at devonlive.com

“Outside of fame his great lifelong loves were Literature and Jazz, passions forged in childhood and this unrivalled collection of modern first editions and iconic jazz memorabilia was built with intelligence and dedication and offer a glimpse into Charlie’s unique place in the history of Rock n Roll.
The online sale will take place 15–29 September, with the live sale taking place on the 28 September.“
