So now we are back to 20 songs, three of them by Keith, and two encores, including Sweet Sounds Of Heaven – the band really delivers a great show – amazing!

Lucky folks in Denver really were in for a treat. Sadly, we here at the screens at home, who couldn’t make it to the show, had trouble to find shared live streams – there were some, though, and I’m always very thankful to the folks who stream. Same holds true for the setlist in videos – as you can see below, some songs are still missing by now, even those crowd pleasers like JJF or even Satisfaction. If you stumble upon some that are missing, sent me a note, please!

Two days left until we see the next Stones gig in Denver!

Old chaps might well relax a bit in between the two shows these days – it allows them a little breather…

clutchpoints.com discusses the ‘permanent setlist change‘ due to that ‘Mick Jagger scared fans‘ – I don’t know, whether we as fans were scared, but the discussions exist, that’s true – “Rolling Stones seemingly make permanent setlist change after Mick Jagger scare“. I cite:

It is unclear why the song has been dropped and Richards’ role has increased. Perhaps this is being done to preserve Jagger’s voice. Or, it is possible that they grew tired of it.

As for the Denver show, the NY Post has some tipps for those planing the trip or who still search for tix, like floor tix start at $274 and cheapest are from Vivid Seats (New York Post’s official ticketing partner) at 500-level at $122 – both before fees. Opening act will be bluesy jam band Widespread Panic.

The Philadelphia Inquirer cought Mick visiting Fairmount Park – “Mick Jagger spotted in Fairmount Park during the Rolling Stones’ Philly tour stop” – here the pics, Mick posted (Insta, X):

clevescene.com confirms complaints from fans who had to face difficulties upon entering the floor seats, because they needed wrist bands and at least at one gate only 4 people were there to handle this. Fans had to cue in long lines and wait for more than one hour: “Cleveland Browns Admit Wristband Process for Floor Access to Rolling Stones Concert Was a Fiasco“

The 12th stop of this tour had the band playing Browns Stadium in Cleveland with a six deacdes spanning setlist of hits!

Again we got 3 songs from Keith – and across the net it is discussed whether the reason for this might be some issue with Mick’s voice. But if you listen to Miss You from last night and hear Mick’s falsetto sounding so easy, it is doubtful that this is the reason for this remarcable change in the setlist compared to the last tours. True – before, it was a sign for some voice problem Mick has had, but by now, as this is becoming a regular on this tour, I would not be surised if this would be carried on to the setlists of next year’s Europe tour! The Hackney Diamonds Tour 2024 reaches it’s 11. stop at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field

CBS reports: “The Rolling Stones’ Hackney Diamonds 2024 Tour comes to Lincoln Financial Field in South Philly“

Apparently, the show is not sold out yet, as you can read at delawarevalleynews.com – “EXCLUSIVE: Rolling Stones Land In Philly“.

Then, after the latest setlist changes in Atlanta, some fans are worried about Mick. Reasons were that Keith did 3 songs and that they dropped SSOH from the setlist. Ok, MR was played instead of Miss You – but this also could point to Mick having to protect his voice and if you count all of this together, it could well be that his voice was stressed. At the age Mick is, his performance is a little miracle on its own anyway…

The Philly lithograph is a reminder on the world famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin – it shows “a bronze sculpture, situated atop a stone pedestal.
