Chuck Leavell Performs 3 songs at Paste Studio, NYC
Tuesday, July 30, Chuck had a few days off before their next Stones show, and so visited NYC’s Paste Studio where he offered up a three-song performance for his own Paste session. He played “Tumbling Dice”, then “Living A Dream” by Sea Level, the jazz fusion band he became a founding member of following his tenure in the Allman Brothers Band and finally closing it with Blind Willie McTell‘s “Statesboro Blues”.

Much to our joy, many fans have contributed their videos of the great show in Philadelphia to YouTube. So here we go!
Remember, these videos can never come near to the experience and sound you have if you were there in person. But then – it’s still very good and great fun! So just enjoy! 🙂

Interesting: a pro-shot from the first 2 songs, JJF and LSTNT, taken from the soundboard, so there’s almost no audience to be heared; this is what the news agencies use for their reports…
Yes folks, again we can enjoy a show together tonight!
As before, we can expect enough live streams to follow the proceedings! 🙂

The Morning Call (mcall.com) – REVIEW: The Rolling Stones at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field seems to show time is on their side
Short quote:
But all The Stones needed to assuage those doubts was to what they ultimately did: Play a show that blasted out of the gate at full bore, its energy rarely flagging over two hours of 19 of some of the best songs ever written, to finish with the band seeming to have given its all.
It was a stunning display of not only how The Rolling Stones remain The World’s Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band, but of how no one else really is even very close.
Mick Jagger’s performance skills, even as he prepares to turn 76 on Friday, remain unparalleled.
