Charlie has passed away

I have no words.

I’m compleatly devastated.

Rest in peace, Charlie, coolest drummer of Rock’n’Roll!

Our and my very dear condolences to Shirley, Serafina and Charlotte
and all of his family and friends, and the band!

All things must pass. So do we, and so do they. We all knew it.
Nevertheless, I’m devastated, have no words.
Then I am incredibly thankful for the man, too, and his swing he gave to the band and us, for so many, many long years. How incredibly lucky we were and still are – to be fans of Charlie and his band!

This is really hard. Let’s stay together as long as possible. And enjoy it.
And I thank you all!!!

I’m 68 years old and was in the 5 TH grade when the Stones appeared on Ed Sullivan for the first time. They were my favorites from then on. My record collection started with “Out of Our Heads” as the first album I ever bought. I still have it. They’ve have always been a part of my whole life. I’ve seen them 10 times live and number 11 will be at Raymond James in October. I’ve seen them with my sons back in the early 90’s. My last name is Richardson and my youngest son is Keith. Charlie was the steadfast glue and every concert when introduced the chants Charlie Charlie Charlie went up. You could see the boyish shyness in his smile and feel how humble he was to be shown the Love from Stones Fans. He will be missed and it will not be the same without him. We will Celebrate Him and Honor Him in October. There will be a chant for him one more time!
Charlie Charlie Charlie Charlie!!! RIP Sir Charlie! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Such a sad day. Charlie, you will be missed by all.

I have been a Rolling Stones fan my whole life. I am 57 years old and when I was in kindergarten we had a show and tell. the teacher asked little jimmy to show and tell the class his item. Little Jimmy walked up to the front of the class with a 45 record in his hands and asked the teacher to play the record on the record player. Much to my surprise and unknowingly ears, I heard the most beautiful sound on earth. The song that little Jimmy played was Satisfaction by The Rolling stones. I didn’t understand why I loved this sound so much as I was only five years old. Needless to say, I was hooked. soon after I had to get as many 45’s and information about this God-giving band to the world. I am 57 years old and have been to four Rolling Stones concerts in my life and will be going to Detroit Ford Field on November 5th, 2021 to see them again for the fifth time in my life. I need to say that Charlie Watts was the Main engine in the band. Most people think it’s Mick Jagger or Keith Richards, I disagree, Charlie was the ONE. The man had class and style and he could play the hell out of those drums. Rest In Peace Charlie, WE Love YOU and always will.

I will always remeber Charlie as the quintessential time keeper who never missed a beat!
he will live eternally in the Music Keith & Mic wrote.
Yet, with class Charlie handed the sticks to Steve Jordan who is as capable a time keeper there is on earth for the worlds greatests Rock & Roll Band “The Rolling Stones!”
