thanks for your comment. I can easily understand your point. It’s the same thing with another doku, too, like the 5 DVD strong Doku “The Rolling Stones – Just For The Record” with lots and lots of details, interviews and facts.
Somehow, the Stones didn’t officially approve that project or at least denied the licences for their music to this.
Must have been the case with this film, too. Often times, those projects run on small budgets and don’t have the money left for officially playing their music during the film.
Actually, in case of docus like this, I’m a little more interested in the facts, stories, details and new perspectives, these formats offer than in hearing the original music (again)…
